Sneaking In...

Sometimes, I just feel silly writing about my life. Honestly, it's not all that exciting, and that's ok by me, but makes for pretty boring narrative. I literally sit here staring at this screen wondering what I could actually say that would be charming, intellectual and funny all at the same time. As per my usual, I'm drawing a blank so you'll have to forgive me.

Perhaps the thing to do is just move on and share a few sneak peeks from May's Studio Calico...I got this yesterday and couldn't help myself, ripped right into it. Every month it's a new challenge, a new way to look at something and make it unique. I think I'm still struggling with finding my own style...but at the same time, I'm using supplies I would never think of and stretching myself in a way that feels quite satisfying. Anyhow, I'm blabbering...love makes you do that, you know.

I'm going to keep it brief, because I need to get some things done, but I do have a Burning Question: Sailor Suits: Appropriate for anyone NOT in the Navy?

Beautiful sneaks, as usual! I can't believe you already ripped apart that kit! I have not had a chance to do anything yet... maybe tonight.

Sailor suits can be worn by small, small children during photoshoots, but should never be adorned by anyone over 4 feet tall at any point past the single digits.

What.
are.
you.
doing?

And I will take the sailor suit thing a bit further than Davinie's comment. Said small, small children should be from wealthy families that own large yacht style watercraft and live in Britain. Having said that I recall a photo of my now 20 year old son as a baby in a sailor suit given to him by a grandmother. He wore it for a photo and I don't think I ever put it on him again. :)

Love the sneaks! You have such a great style, whether or not you have it defined. I can't wait to see the full reveal!

Hmmm...I don't have an opinion on the sailor suit question, but I can't disagree with what Dav & Susan have said. You have me curious now though.

Oh wow...I want to see more, enough sneaks.

on the sneaks: yum!

on the sailor suits: only if you live in Hef's mansion.

on emails: had date night with hubby tonight and will definitely be writing to you tomorrow.

xoxo

Oooh, you brought out the sailor suit comment into the general populace... Oooh, now you will have to explain... LOL!

The peeks are marvelous. As usual! And sailor suits, well, on real sailors, and on really hot looking young guys in music videos. Definitely NOT on David Bowie.

oohh...cool sneaks. I think the same when I'm posting on the blog. I wonder....who the heck wants to read about me and my day? All I do is eat, sleep, work and scrap!hehe...

Ca-ute sneaks!

Hmmmmm - maybe only for babies! :)

adorable as always!!!!! can't wait to see the rest:)

sailors suits appropriate on anyone 4 and under:)

You are one of the most interesting people I know! You even make "drawing a blank" interesting!
Does buying a sailor suit for your husband to fulfill a certain fantasy count? KIDDING!!! KIDDING!!! KIDDING!!! I'm just a little excited it's Friday (my comment date, anyway!)
Hmmmm.... I walked through the downtown mall the other day & definitely see that there is a nautical theme going on with some things....clothing colors & home items. I personally think Seth would look quite dapper in a little sailor suit & hat.
Seriously, what's up?!

Love the sneak peeks! In regard to sailor suits...yes - only on Halloween for anyone not in the Navy and over the age of three. However, Pea coats, which I believe are Navy related, can be worn by anyone at any age, but only in winter. I have a lot of rules for Navy wear. :o)
